Tripp McLaughlin serves as the Director of Brand Management for Tru by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide’s new midscale brand.
A brand strategist and marketing expert with experience in both consumer packaged goods and the hospitality industry, Tripp is responsible for driving the overall development of the new brand, including strategic planning and mobilization of resources for key initiatives from initiation to execution and developing fact-based business case for new initiatives to support brand growth.
Prior to joining Hilton Worldwide, Tripp worked at the Wm. Wrigley Jr. company with positions across the confections portfolio, including leading the execution of Wrigley’s Halloween and Valentine’s Day Seasonal Portfolios, a +$70m business, and developing a three-year plan strategy to grow LifeSavers revenue through innovation, packaging redesign, cross-portfolio promotions, and tactical digital marketing.
Tripp has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and an undergraduate B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Tripp is a native of the Washington DC area and lives in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife, two young daughters, and dog.
