Peter O'Toole

Peter O’Toole’s reputation as an objective counselor to senior corporate, non-profit and government officials led Gov.


Bill Richardson to say, “Small issue or big, domestic or global, he’s a partner I trust.” Before forming Objective Lab, O’Toole was Vice President of Communications at Pfizer, a new role leading messaging and communication for the Chairman and CEO. He was previously Director of Public Relations, Public Affairs and Executive Communications at GE, counseling the Chairman and CEO and GE’s senior executives, creating and executing winning global coalitions and campaigns – including PR Week’s Corporate Branding Campaign of the Year and PR News’s Speech of the Year – leading the global crisis communications function and serving as global corporate spokesman. O’Toole started as a journalist based in Munich, Germany, covering science and technology policy and was later an appointee of President Bill Clinton, serving as senior speechwriter to the U.S. Energy Secretary, who awarded him the Secretary’s Award for Outstanding Performance. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and Colby College.
