Dino Damalas is a Vice President and the Chief Information Officer of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
In this role, Mr. Damalas is responsible for establishing the vision and strategy for the alignment of technology with strategic initiatives and business operations.
Mr. Damalas joined the ACC in 2006 and became the Chief Information Officer in 2010. He has held positions as an IT solutions provider and leader in the private sector implementing mission-critical solutions for the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, entertainment industry, and retail.
Prior to joining the ACC, Mr. Damalas worked as a technical manager at BRTRC Technology Research Corporation. He also worked as technical project manager at Etensity, Inc. Mr. Damalas began his career in the United States Marine Corps where he served as both the information systems coordinator and platoon sergeant for Combat Service Support Detachment 14.
Damalas has held certifications as an ethical hacker and as a Microsoft solutions developer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and an Executive MBA from George Mason University.
