Justin Lynch

Justin Lynch is a member of the adjnuct faculty at the Security Studies Program.

He also serves as the Deployment Lead for a defense technology company. Prior to his current role, he served as the senior director for defense at the Special Competitive Studies Project, a policy advisor for artificial intelligence at the Office of Science and Technology Policy, a director at the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence, staff at the House Armed Services Committee, and as a U.S. Army officer. 


Justin holds an MA in government from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in history from the United States Military Academy. He is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, and a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations. His writings have appeared in such outlets as War on the RocksJoint Force Quarterly, The Kissinger Center PapersModern War InstituteThe Hill, and elsewhere.
