How will education in your field will change over the next decade?
Education in my field will drastically change in terms of the type of educators instructing graduate students as well as efforts to incorporate dual-language coursework for future working relationships in the industry. What makes Georgetown's Sports Industry Management (SIM) program so rewarding is the accomplished sports professionals guiding us in the classroom and unparalleled networking experiences outside of the classroom setting.
Who (or what) has inspired you and how has your life changed as a result?
My parents and sister continue to inspire me. My family was a huge part of my upbringing and faith life and still is. They encouraged me to find joy in life (in all things), and bring joy to others. I was the first male Romero to graduate college in my family and the first to attend a graduate program. I continue to challenge everything in the hopes of repaying my family back one day and to create a legacy.
What is something people might not know about you?
Something people may not know about me is that I'm currently planning a treasure hunt expedition (with my father and best friend) for the spring of 2016 to find the $3 million dollar hidden treasure of Forrest Fenn in the Rocky Mountains.
