What is an interesting trend emerging in your field?
The sharing economy. At first glance it may seem that such an economic sector has application more towards Millennials. However, recent data shows that there is a surge in the number of non-Millennials seeking out and utilizing "shared" services and experiences. So this phenomenon is indeed a multi-generational trend. For now, the hospitality field must move rapidly to catch up technologically.

What has been your most unique learning experience?
Raising my three daughters has, by far, been my most unique learning experience. I have completed two master's degrees (now my third at SCS) and countless military courses, but none [have] prepared me for the experience of being a father. Being a father has helped me in my academic studies, as well as every other aspect of my life.
