How will education in your field change over the next decade?
Until the last few years, a college education was not a requirement to be licensed in real estate appraisal. The requirement now is a bachelor's degree as well as 300 hours of appraisal specific education. I think the education requirement for this field is going to increase rapidly over the next 10 years.

How do you give back?
I give back to the profession by being an advisor for three professionals seeking the MAI designation through the Appraisal Institute. I also assist other professionals in our office that are seeking licensure/designation. Furthermore, this year I served on the Leadership Development and Advisory Council (LDAC).

What do you like to do in your free time?
My free time is spent with my wife of 13 years and our three year-old twins. We love to travel and see different parts of the world. When possible, I also like to play golf.
