What is an important skill for someone to have in your profession?
Research, critical thinking, and writing are the three most important skills for someone in my profession. Analysis requires one to comb through massive amounts of data, find the meaningful information, and explain it to policymakers in a clear manner so that they may make informed political decisions. Georgetown's Liberal Studies program sharpens and hones this exact skill set, and I have noticed a considerable improvement in the quality of my work since starting the program.

Who (or what) has inspired you and how has your life changed as a result?
While deployed to Afghanistan, my boss's tireless work ethic and enthusiasm was a constant source of inspiration for soldiers in my office, and his dedication to service has stuck with me to this day. His constant motivation continues to inspire me to approach every task, no matter how small, with a positive attitude and my utmost effort.
