How will education in your field will change over the next decade?
This might be wishful thinking on my part, but I predict a move towards teaching 'slow' news as the general public tires of quick news and cursory soundbites. By 'slow' news, I mean stories that give context to breaking news and give insight into how these developments affect individuals from all over the country.

Who (or what) has inspired you and how has your life changed as a result?
Four years ago I lost my younger brother to cancer. Coping with his illness and then absence while trying to comfort my parents and figure out my career path was difficult, to say the least. But the grieving process and the brave and yet lighthearted way in which my brother lived his life taught me so much about how I want to live mine. I've stopped sweating the small stuff and have taken more time to spend with family and friends.
