What has been your most unique learning experience and why?
One of my most fascinating learning experiences was a recent Georgetown Urban & Regional Planning class trip to China. We spent three days at the Urban Land Institute Asia-Pacific Summit in Shanghai with some of the world's premier planners and developers. During our week-long trip, we met with government leaders in the fields of planning and economic development and analyzed China's urbanism. Seeing and experiencing Chinese streetscapes, development, and transportation systems firsthand provided enormous understanding into the machinations of one of the world's most quickly developing countries.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I'm not in class, I enjoy singing in the Washington Men's Camerata. The Camerata is a 60-voice men's ensemble performing classical and contemporary choral music at the Kennedy Center, embassies, and other venues around the region.
