Teaching English as a Foreign Language
Georgetown’s Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate is an entry-level credential for teaching English as a foreign or second language. Whether you’ve had previous experience as a teacher or not, our program prepares you for all aspects of language instruction and ensures you learn the best methodologies for teaching English.
Our online program is flexible enough to meet the needs of even the busiest students. The program is capped with a five-day, on-site teaching practicum at Georgetown’s downtown Washington, D.C., campus.
