Carol has been teaching at Georgetown since 2007 and brings more than 30 years of expertise in communications and media to the university. She has served in two presidential administrations and provided strategic leadership counsel for executives at Fortune 100 companies and global nonprofits.

Carol earned her BA in Communications and Psychology from The George Washington University, her Master's in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, and her Master's in Business Administration from Western Governors University. She has also completed post-graduate certificate work at Harvard, MIT, the University of Maryland, and UC Berkeley.
