Professor Davis is a graduate of Virginia Tech and The Pennsylvania State University, where he conducted his doctoral research on the synthesis and folding thermodynamics of peptides and proteins.

Bio and Featured Works

Currently he directs undergraduate Organic Chemistry Teaching Labs and administrates GCMS, HPLC, TGA, DSC and elemental analysis instrumentation for the Chemistry Department. Professor Davis serves on the faculty advisory board for the Georgetown Scientific Research Journal. He also maintains an extensive educational YouTube channel and produces instructional videos in collaboration with The Great Courses in an effort to create high quality instructional materials that can reach non-traditional students of chemistry around the globe.
