George Petasis

Assistant Dean for Technology and CIO at the Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) Adjunct Faculty, M.P.S. in Technology Management, Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies Assistant Dean Petasis has more than 25 years of managerial experience in a senior IT role that encompasses all facets of information technology disciplines including Network Infrastructure, Server Support, Security, Helpdesk, Web and Application Support in High Availability environments involving Disaster Recovery sites.

Experience includes the project management of large scale enterprise projects, the alignment of IT with business goals, the setup and management of IT departments utilizing the ITIL framework, IT governance and Project Management Office (PMO) development. Education includes a BA, an MBA with an IT focus, and industry certifications including ITIL and PMP. He has previously supported clients including government organizations, commercial entities and universities/colleges.
