Mark Franceski currently serves as Chief Strategist at Middleburg Communities, an NMHC top 11 multifamily developer with an active pipeline, where he is responsible for all research, data analytics, and market strategy.Prior to that, Mark served as Managing Director at Zelman & Associates, a sell-side equities research firm focused on the housing industry and owned by Walker & Dunlop. He also spent 10 years as head of research for Bozzuto, a DC Metro-based owner, developer, operator, and builder of mixed-use multifamily developments. There he started the company's research department and have developed it to oversee data analytics, market research, economic research, portfolio analysis, due diligence, and many other things.
Mark holds a BA in Economics from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from George Mason University.
Across a two-decade career, Mark has become a foremost expert in real estate research including economics, data analytics, forecasting, business intelligence, public speaking, and thought leadership. He has taught in the SCS program since 2019.
