Message from the Faculty Director

Welcome to the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Georgetown University. Our bachelor’s completion program offers a dynamic and interdisciplinary education that combines aspects of the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and professional disciplines. Whatever your specific interests, our curriculum is designed to prepare our students for a rewarding academic and professional life after graduation. We are committed to supporting you in your journey toward degree completion, a commitment which is founded on Georgetown’s value of cura personalis—care for the whole person—and our institution’s commitment to social justice.

There are as many paths to a bachelor’s degree as there are students, and the life experiences that you bring with you into the classroom are unique. Congratulations on taking the next step toward the completion of your bachelor’s degree. We are delighted that our program will play a role in your journey.
