Message from the Faculty Director
Strategic public relations and communications are integral to every organization’s success. Our field is responsible for protecting and promoting brands and reputations, influencing attitudes and sentiments, shaping behaviors, and strengthening mutually beneficial trust and goodwill with stakeholders — all with the potential to have a positive impact on society. It’s a big job and, at Georgetown, we love teaching it.
Information integrity, reputation, and brand management are more important than ever before. Pursuing a master’s degree with us can not only help you grow your skills in public relations and corporate communications, but also provides unrivaled networking opportunities with Georgetown students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others in our community. Our program can give you a competitive advantage in the workplace because you’ll be learning from instructors who are experts currently leading strategic PR and communications efforts in the U.S. and around the world.
Our Public Relations & Corporate Communications team is enthusiastic and supportive, creative and curious, and dedicated to providing a learning environment that is rigorous and energizing while also being supportive of professional interests and personal goals. We are here to help you thrive and grow, do good work, and inspire others. We’re excited to have you join us.
