The Georgetown Executive Master’s in Humanitarian Crisis & Emergency Management program develops leaders who are dedicated and trained to handle the complex landscape of disaster management on the local, national, and international scale. Intended for experienced professionals, our 12-month cohort-based executive program focuses on topics such as natural disaster recovery, strategic leadership, terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, global health and pandemics, and humanitarian crisis management. You’ll complete five residencies (three in person and two online) as you gain hands-on experience dealing with the humanitarian and emergency management challenges affecting society worldwide.
In between residencies, you’ll learn through a combination of real-time lectures, online coursework, and group discussions. All synchronous class meetings are entirely virtual, so you can complete your studies from the comfort of your home or office.
