The Georgetown University Master's in Real Estate Advisory Board brings together top real estate leaders from among our faculty and alumni to provide feedback and guidance on our program offerings.
The Advisory Board enhances the Master's in Real Estate program by:
- Serving as valuable mentors and resources for students.
- Providing national and global perspectives on emerging real estate strategies.
- Reviewing program curriculum to foster innovation and ensure industry relevance.
- Developing strong links between the program, students, and the industry.
- Recommending and overseeing applied research projects that help move the real estate industry forward.
Real Estate Advisory Board Members
Corinne “Cori” Beasley
Prior to teaching at the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown, Assistant Professor of the Practice Corinne Beasley spent ten years as full-time faculty at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. She also provides consulting services to real estate developers, municipalities and nonprofits engaging in complex real estate projects, and serves as a Senior Advisor at Econsult Solutions, Inc, as well as serving as the President of her own consulting firm, Packard Beasley.
Corinne is the former vice president of development at the Hudson Yards Development Corporation, which was the City entity charged with spearheading the implementation of the Hudson Yards development program, which included the extension of the No. 7 Subway Line, the redevelopment of the MTA Railyards, as well as other development sites between roughly 30th Street and 42nd Street, west of 8th Avenue.
Prior to working at HYDC, Corinne was a Vice President of the Financial Services division of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where she structured City incentives and discretionary capital investments in real estate and economic development projects throughout the five boroughs, including Atlantic Yards and Coney Island.
Prior to joining NYCEDC, Corinne worked in real estate finance at Capital Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust in New York focusing on high-yield debt investments in real estate assets and operating companies, and in real estate acquisitions at Heitman, a real estate investment management company.
Corinne graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Urban Studies and Real Estate Development and a master’s in City Planning. Corinne is a member of the ULI national Public-Private Partnership Council.
Paul Blackman
Paul Blackman is a proven public and private sector veteran with over two decades of experience delivering over 4 million square feet of commercial projects for a broad spectrum of clients and stakeholders. Paul is currently founder and managing principal of Trusted Advisory Group in Washington, D.C., a project management consulting and advisory services firm assisting institutional owners of land and real estate with a total project value under management of over $1 billion.
Prior to starting Trusted, Paul was appointed by Mayor Bowser to lead a 120-person real estate project management organization as the head of construction for the District of Columbia managing in excess of $4 billion in city-wide construction and development projects.
Prior to serving in the Bowser Administration, Paul was an executive at a global commercial real estate services firm, advising corporate clients and non-profits resulting in over 1 million square feet of projects delivered primarily in the Washington, D.C. area.
In the community, Paul is a mentor to students and young professionals in commercial real estate as well as an adjunct faculty member and advisory board member of Georgetown’s Master’s in Real Estate program. He is also a trustee of Federal City Council (FC2), a nonprofit, nonpartisan, membership-based organization dedicated to the advancement of civic life in the nation’s capital. Paul resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three daughters. He considers being a husband and father his highest privilege and achievement in life.
James Dalkin
James Dalkin, adjunct lecturer, joined Georgetown in 1999 and is co-creator of the Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate program. Prior to Georgetown, he developed entrepreneurial ventures including a real estate investment company. Jim also has work experience in public accounting with Deloitte, PWC, and the GAO.
A certified public accountant by trade, he is a frequent speaker at international conferences on topics including auditing and internal control standards. Jim previously served as chair of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board Consultative Advisory Group. He also served on the U.S. Auditing Standards Board where he chaired the performance audit task force and was a member of the auditing issues task force. Jim travels globally promoting auditing and ethics standards for organizations including, Public Interest Oversight Board. He has a passion for teaching nonaccountants how to read and understand financial statements.
Expertise: Real estate investment and financial analysis, auditing standards and internal controls.
Teaching: Foundations of Real Estate Accounting (G) and Principles of Accounting (UG).
Education: MLA from Harvard University, MBA from George Washington University and BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Glen Micael Lambinicio
Glen Micael Lambinicio, adjunct lecturer, is an investment advisor in the private client group at Brown Advisory, where he is a member of the team that manages over $2 billion in assets. Additionally, Glen contributes to the evaluation and recommendation of real estate investments.
Prior to Brown Advisory, Glen was the head trader and a junior portfolio manager at Beaty Haynes & Associates Inc., where he was a member of the investment research team and supervised the firm’s systems technology. Outside of the office, Glen is a connoisseur and occasional educator of wines, with certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and the International Wine Guild. He also freelances as a professional wedding photographer, having photographed nearly 100 weddings since 2005.
Glen earned a BS in Finance from George Mason University, and an MPS in Real Estate from Georgetown. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and founding chairman of the Georgetown Real Estate Alumni Association.
Kwabena Osei-Sarpong
Kwabena Osei-Sarpong, founder and CEO of RIFE International, leads an award-winning global clean energy and renewables firm based in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area with operations in Africa. His mission is to create scalable solutions for clean energy, energy security, and sustainable growth.
In addition to leading RIFE International, he serves as an advisor and collaborates with policymakers, industry leaders, and global organizations, while serving on prestigious advisory boards U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa, U.S. Department of Commerce Renewable Energy, and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee.
As a global speaker, he has delivered keynotes across the United States, Africa, and Europe, sharing thought leadership at Harvard Business School, Duke University, Georgetown University, the University of Maryland, Brown University, Morgan State University, and Radford University. As a global sustainability advocate, he has engaged leaders at the Powering Africa Summit, WTCI Fellowships, NMSDC MED Week, and Enlit Africa to advance dialogue on clean energy, climate solutions, and economic growth.
Edith Petrovics
Edith Petrovics is currently the senior director of asset management at Parkview Financial, based in Los Angeles. She is responsible for maximizing the financial performance and long-term value of Parkview’s real estate asset holdings across the U.S., overseeing property operations, financial performance, capital projects, debt compliance, and strategic business plans in partnership with third-party property management teams.
Edith brings more than 14 years of experience in both commercial and multifamily real estate asset management. Most recently, she was Director of Asset Management at John Hancock / Manulife Investment Management, where she oversaw the U.S. West multifamily portfolio, along with several large office properties. Edith has also held Asset Management roles at BentallGreenOak and REITs Macerich and Regency Centers.
In addition to an MPS in Real Estate from Georgetown University, Edith holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College, and a certificate from Harvard University’s Real Estate Management Program.
James Reidy
Jim Reidy is a senior managing director with Savills Studley, a global real estate strategy, services, and advisory firm dedicated to helping clients achieve business and fiscal goals through conflict-free tenant representation-focused and strategy & operation consulting services. Jim leads the firm's Public Sector Consulting Practice, providing industry-leading competencies addressing workplace transformation, construction project management, and corporate real estate business process improvement challenges.
Jim brings over 30 years of real estate management and technology experience, focusing on real estate strategies and operations with Tier I consulting firms, including Deloitte Consulting, Booz Allen Hamilton, and BearingPoint. Serving both public and private sector clients, including several Fortune 100 companies and most Cabinet level Departments of the U.S. Government, Jim employs a combination of process re-engineering, performance improvement, leading practices in facilities strategies, operations, management, and decision support technology to address today’s rapidly evolving real estate and facilities management issues. Jim also brings significant experience in defining, selecting, designing, and implementing technology-based real estate asset management solutions, including Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAM).
In 2014, Jim was inducted into the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Fellow, the highest level of membership. An international distinction, the RICS ‘Fellow’ status, or FRICS, is earned by those who have played a key role in shaping and contributing to the profession. Additionally, Jim serves on Georgetown University’s Board of Advisors for their Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate program.
Jim holds his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He has also attended The Strategic Leadership Workshop at Yale’s School of Management and the Designing for Adaptive Re-use at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
Arezou Wilson
Arezou Wilson is a senior project manager with Cushman & Wakefield’s Project & Development Services, where she specializes in delivering complex occupier and investor projects. With more than a decade of experience spanning real estate development, architecture, and construction, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective that enables her to effectively guide projects from due diligence through execution and completion.
Throughout her career, Arezou has managed diverse projects on behalf of institutional investors, private investors, corporate occupiers, financial institutions, and professional service organizations. She is responsible for overseeing project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with client objectives and investment goals.
Arezou was named a Rising Star Honoree in Bisnow’s 2025 DMV Women Leading Real Estate Awards. In 2024, she served as Georgetown University’s Fellow through the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE). She holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.
