With evolving behaviors of cybercriminals and the increase of cyberattacks year-over-year, both public and private sector organizations are investing in cybersecurity more than ever. Georgetown University’s Online Master of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity Risk Management program prepares you to think strategically and serve as an invaluable asset to any organization or business.

Drawing from frameworks established by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), our online program takes an interdisciplinary approach to cybersecurity, examining the field through the lenses of ethics, communications, management, law, security, and computer science. You’ll master the leading tools and techniques, such as applied intelligence and machine learning algorithms, to respond to any security threat.

You’ll also gain hands-on experience with real-time data to analyze events, detect malicious activities, and recommend countermeasures. Through collaborative online projects with classmates from around the world, you’ll develop security strategies related to information security and privacy, international standards, and industry guidelines.
