Joshua S. Meredith, J.D. works as both an administrator and adjunct faculty member at the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

He was awarded the 2018 President's Excellence Award for service to the University.

He is currently the Assistant Dean for Analytics, Technology and Security programs which encompasses the Technology Management, Systems Engineering Management, Applied Intelligence and Emergency Disaster Management M.P.S. programs. He works to ensure students meet their necessary degree requirements and are successful in their course of study.

He also serves as a faculty member in the M.P.S. in Human Resources Management (HRM) and M.P.S. in Project Management programs where he teaches Ethics. He has taught for more than 12-semesters and maintains a strong understanding of traditional ethical theorem while teaching students how it connects to the modern work environment.

Joshua maintains an interest in cloud computing, online education and data ethics. Considered an expert in the legality of fantasy sports, he is an organizer of the DC Sports and Tech meetups and can often be seen networking throughout the Washington, D.C. area. Previously he has been the organizing chair of Georgetown's Girls Who Code Partnership. He works with a group of undergraduate student as the staff chair of the Hoya Hacks Hackathon, for the last four years successfully planning and hosting three Hackathons for more than 250+ students, respectively.

An avid fundraiser, he works with numerous initiatives to build corporate partnerships and build opportunities for student engagement.

Originally from Jericho, New York, he earned his law degree at the Syracuse University College of Law and spent three-plus years working as a litigator prior to joining Georgetown. During his time at Syracuse, he was the President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and wrote the qualifications for the Entertainment and Sports Law Certificate under the tutelage of Professors Laura Lape and Rodrick Surratt. Joshua earned his bachelor’s degree in History from The George Washington University. Joshua maintains an active legal license in the State of New Jersey. Joshua currently hails from Cabin John, Maryland with his dog, Oscar.
