Chris McGrath is a Certified Public Accountant who has practiced in the Baltimore/Washington area as well as three years working out of Istanbul, Turkey.
His background includes audit and tax services as well as litigation support. McGrath has been involved in discovering, documenting, and adjudicating damages due to defalcations and has supported attorneys, government agencies and private clients in this process.
Through out his career, McGrath has taught on many topics, including auditing, investing, and forensic accounting. McGrath currently serves as the Academic Advisor for the Finance and Forensic Accounting Programs in Georgetown’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education.
McGrath’s Internet articles on fraud featured him in The Practical Accountant, Accountants using the Internet. He has also written and contributed to publications on Public Sector Audit Committees and FSIO’s Insurance Systems Requirements.
