Booms has 29 years of experience in market research and strategic communications. He has helped inform and enhance numerous public affairs, corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership campaigns. He currently serves as the Director, Strategic Research and Communications for The Hannon Group. Prior to that, he helmed his own opinion research consultancy for a decade. Over the course of his career, he has served in senior leadership roles with global public relations, market research, and media intelligence firms. He began his career as a political pollster.
Booms holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University.
