Ibrahim Majeed
Dr. Majeed is a Principal Systems Engineer at the MITRE Corporation with decades of experience.
Recently Dr. Majeed was a Co-Department Head for an innovation center focusing on Enterprise Program and Risk Management. He has served as a program manager, trusted advisor, and subject matter expert for acquisitions, systems implementation, operations management, and strategic planning programs. Dr. Majeed has led award winning teams for commercial and government clients including IBM, Department of Treasury, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, and major banks, among others. He has worked internationally implementing systems and leading process improvement initiatives.
Dr. Majeed obtained his Doctorate from Capella University. His research interests include leadership, project management, program development, strategic planning, operations management, process improvement, systems engineering, digital transformation, and organizational behavior. He has presented at the United States Telecommunications Training Institute on multiple occasions focusing on “Inter-Agency Collaboration of Systems Development Projects”. Dr. Majeed currently supports the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) working group examining the intersection of systems engineering and project management.
Dr. Majeed earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Rutgers University, a Master’s in Management from the University of Maryland, and a Doctor of Public Administration, with Distinction, from Capella University. He holds certifications in Project Management and Agile Frameworks.
