Tatia Granger, Ph.D., PCC, works at the intersection where her skills and talents merge around coaching individuals and groups to personal and professional clarity.

  Dr. Granger brings more than thirty years of integrated learning and practice from higher education, non-profit talent development, management consulting and volunteer civic organizations to her role as a leadership coach and facilitator. Her professional and educational experiences support her belief that preparation through partnership yields success. Concurrent with coaching and facilitation, Dr. Granger serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary. Prior to joining the faculty, she served as the inaugural University Ombuds at William & Mary where she endeavored to engage a work environment of greater satisfaction through effective conflict management and communication strategies. Throughout her career, she has sought and appreciated opportunities to advocate for professional access and accomplishment through collaborative work with a focus on maximizing the results of diverse professional teams. Dr. Granger teaches organizational behavior, leadership, and effective teams courses for both undergraduate and MBA students. She also serves as a leadership coach for the Executive MBA Program. Her academic and practical experiences position her to work with individual leaders and leadership teams in higher education, the non-profit sector, and corporate entities on ways to recognize and then maximize team talents toward team success. Dr. Granger is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration with a focus on Organizational Behavior & Leadership from The Darden Graduate School of Business; a M.Ed. in Social Foundations of Education; and a B.A. in French. Dr. Granger also completed Georgetown University’s Leadership Coach Training Program, where she now serves as adjunct faculty and co-teaches the Ethics in Coaching and the Leadership Coaching in Systems courses. She earned and holds the ICF certification of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and serves as an affiliate coach at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). On a more personal note, she enjoys yoga, music, being outdoors and spending time with family, friends and her family labradoodle, Hylton.
