Katharina Vogel
Katharina studied German Studies, English and American Studies, and European Languages at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany.
Her passion for intercultural exchange led her to Ireland and the US. After teaching German at Trinity College in Dublin and the Ohio State University in Columbus, she decided to pursue a doctorate at Georgetown University. Katharina’s main research interest continues to be in Second Language Acquisition, with a focus on intercultural communication, technologically supported language learning, and theater pedagogy. Her interests in digital humanities primarily encompass digital platforms that enable a greater accessibility of educational materials for the broader public.
