Description: Teams in different pro sports leagues have moved from one city to another over the years, seeking a better business and/or competitive environment. The relocations of these teams have followed distinct strategies in order to achieve a desired outcome. The Global Sports Operations & Strategy sample class will present a case study of one pro sports team relocation, along with access to insights and analysis from the individual who had a leading role in successfully bringing Major League Baseball back to Washington, D.C.
