Taci Muniz is responsible for the Project Management Office (PMO) in the World Bank Group’s IT Solutions for finance-related systems.
With almost 15 years in project management, Taci is a systematic thinker and disciplined practitioner, seasoned in managing portfolios of multi-million dollar projects and engaging and negotiating with stakeholders. Taci is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL Foundation-certified in IT Services.
Ms. Muniz began her career at DuPont, streamlining logistics and materials costs for operations in Brazil focusing on Lean and Six Sigma principles. At the World Bank Group, she has worked to streamline IT governance and align of annual investment plans with strategic goals by working with dozens of unit PMOs. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a Master's in Business Administration from University of São Paulo, and a Master of Science in Finance from the George Washington University.
Ms. Muniz also provides education, and mentoring, including project/program/portfolio management, risk management, quality management, and change management. Most recently, Ms. Muniz has taught for the Georgetown University.
