Even a company as big as the global aeronautics firm Airbus needs an office for business transformation. And that’s because it’s constantly innovating its core business in commercial and military aviation—producing 70 aircraft this year—while moving into areas like microsatellites and drone technology. “To really underpin both the new and the old and blend it all together, we need a high-performing organization, and we need to invest in our people,” says Daniel McCombe, Airbus’s Head of Business Transformation.
