Why is it that PR professionals are seen as people who spin instead of add value? Often it's because professionals aren't able to articulate how PR affects bottom line. Carol Blymire, faculty member for the master's in Public Relations & Corporate Communications program, provides a few tips to help shift this perception.
Carol Blymire is the founder of Blymire Communications, providing public relations, branding, and advocacy counsel to Fortune 100 corporations, national non-profits, celebrity foundations, and everything in between. She serves as Vice Chairman of the board of directors for the Celiac Disease Foundation, is a cookbook author, and hosts popular public affairs radio segments across the Clear Channel network in Washington and Baltimore.
SCS continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and respond in support of the University community. Currently, all summer term courses will continue through distance instruction.
