Workshops, training programs, micro-courses, and seminars are among the many learning and development resources created for working professionals, students, and executive leaders. But, how effective and impactful are these programs? As organizations look to build new, innovative program offerings for their workforce, constituents, or consumers they should also be considering an equally important step in this process–evaluation. Creating a culture and awareness of evaluation from the outset for new or existing programs of all types is imperative to ensure ROI, scale, and impact.
This session will feature tips and guidance for introducing the concept of program evaluation and how to secure the support of key stakeholders. Specific topics will include key steps/models in evaluation, culturally responsive evaluation, research methods, and ethical dilemmas one might encounter in this scope of work.
