Executive Master’s in Global Sports Operations & Strategy Webinar

The Executive Master’s in Global Sports Operations & Strategy—in collaboration with the Manchester City Football Club—offers the incredible opportunity to both learn from Georgetown’s world-class faculty and then apply that knowledge in a hands-on environment.

The Global Sports Operations and Strategy program isn't just about learning the theory, it’s about experiencing elite sport from boardroom to stadium. Georgetown brings academic rigor, Manchester City brings access to real-world sports operations, analytics, marketing, and athlete development. This one-of-a-kind collaboration represents a commitment to building cutting-edge educational opportunities grounded in the 500-year history of Jesuit education. Students in the program will find ample opportunities for personally and professionally transformative experiences.

The cornerstone of The Global Sports Operations & Strategy program is professional mentoring and networking opportunities. Through two residency experiences—one in Manchester and the other in New York City—students will forge in-person connections with professionals currently steering the strategy and operations of sports organizations around the world.

At the heart of the Manchester residency is the Manchester City Sports Business School, located within Manchester City Football Club and the wider City Football Group—a global network of 13 clubs including New York City Football Club. Through this collaboration, students in the Executive Master’s program will experience the business of football from two of the world’s most dynamic sporting cities, Manchester and New York, gaining first-hand insight into how elite clubs operate on a global stage.

Ideal for working professionals, the Global Sports Operations & Strategy program is built around online, asynchronous learning that enables collaboration, discussion, and growth for a global cohort of students.

Through the immersive, yearlong program, you'll not only learn about the industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural contexts shaping professional sports environments around the globe—you’ll acquire the skills, tools, and perspectives necessary to enhance operational efficiency, improve fan engagement, and make an immediate impact within the industry.
