Martha Wescoat-Andes
Martha is a ICF leadership coach at the PCC level and a nationally board certified health and wellness coach.   Martha Wescoat-Andes is a Practicum Advisor in the Georgetown University Health and Wellness Coaching Certification program. She completed the program herself in 2020 and became certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC) in 2021. Martha is also a leadership coach certified at the PCC level by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Recently she became certified in Transformational Nutrition, which examines nutrition from a three-prong approach of how we “feed” ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually to create a balanced and personalized foundation from which to achieve lasting transformation. She has been coaching since 2016. Martha has a BA in Government from Smith College and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Columbia University. She is also a certified practitioner in appreciative inquiry and Gallup’s StrengthsFinder as well as skilled in various models of emotional intelligence. As both a leadership coach and a health & wellness coach, Martha helps clients develop the self-leadership skills necessary to align their behaviors with their personal vision of optimal health & wellness to achieve transformative results. By combining leadership and health & wellness coaching in her practice she assists individuals to consider their whole person in their journey toward greater integration and fulfillment for their enhanced wellbeing and performance. In addition to coaching for the Department of Energy, Army, George Mason University, University of Michigan and William & Mary and private clients, Martha has an extensive background in university leadership with a strong focus on academic stress and organizational and personal wellbeing. She is on the INOVA Patient and Family Advisory Committee in Fairfax, VA.
