Fasika supports executives in the public and private sector to align human capital activities with organizational goals and strategy to achieve long-term growth and sustainability. Her work includes advising and coaching leaders to increase employee engagement, team effectiveness, achieve performance goals, and lead strategic change initiatives.
Fasika is also committed to making a meaningful difference in the community. She has served as the executive director of Fusion Dance Company, a nonprofit organization focused on bringing the arts to underprivileged youth and children. And partnered with Fairfax County to offer team building and leadership workshops to underprivileged communities. Fasika has been recognized as a Distinguished Partner by Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services for her work with the Women Inspired Neighborhoods leadership retreat.
Fasika is considered a thought leader serving as a guest speaker and panelist for conferences, professional networks, and universities in the areas of leadership, diversity, leadership personality assessments, and organization development.
Fasika obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology as magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mary Washington, her MBA in Organization Development from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and is a certified practitioner of MBTI. Fasika completed the Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching program at Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach.
