As the President of APA, his vision for the firm has aligned support to major DoD Navy programs and Veterans Affairs. Prior to starting his firm, he worked as a major Information Technology Program Manager (IT PM) supporting DoD/VA’s efforts to modernize the Military Health System (MHS) electronic health records (EHR) and achieve the goals of establishing seamless medical data sharing between DoD, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the private sector. As a major IT PM, he supported the implementation of technology solutions for the Office of Technology Solutions - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services which enabled Enterprise development and integration of programs to support agency-wide operations, Information technology (IT) governance and enterprise technology management, business and IT transformation, large scale data, enterprise shared services, enterprise cloud strategy, and risk based security strategies. Considered an expert in the field of organization Metrics development, analysis and reporting, he has provided critical support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) / Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) / Director, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) / Director, Systems Engineering, (D, SE) where he developed and managed a process for improving the development and reporting of major acquisition program’s systems engineering Metrics data.
