Jack Gillum is an adjunct lecturer in the journalism program at Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies, where he teaches data-driven reporting. Currently, he is a data journalist at The Wall Street Journal. Previously, he reported for Bloomberg News, ProPublica, The Washington Post and The Associated Press, where he wrote on social media firms, national politics and government surveillance; and for USA Today, where he pursued data-driven investigations into standardized test cheating and college athletics. Jack began his career as a business reporter at the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson.
