Chad Day, the chief elections analyst for The Associated Press, teaches data-driven reporting in Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies.


Day is a member of AP’s Decision Desk and writes about politics and elections. He previously worked at The Wall Street Journal, where he was part of a team awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting.


He has also worked as an investigative reporter at The Associated Press where he covered special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation and President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign. Before that, he covered juvenile justice and child maltreatment at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
