As an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, his scholarly and practical work spans organization development, change management, and workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. He is also the Founder Emeritus of Kaizen Human Capital, a consulting firm that sits at the intersection of academia and industry, delivering evidence-based solutions in organization development, human resources, and information technology to align people, process, and technology.


He received the Tropaia Outstanding Faculty Award from Georgetown University, recognizing his exemplary contributions as a consummate professor and role model for inclusive excellence. He also received the distinction of being one of George Mason University's Prominent Patriots in Business, exemplifying his engagement as a well-rounded scholar and a person prepared to act through innovation.


Dr. Hasan obtained his doctoral degree in education from the University of Southern California, where his research delved into religious discrimination in the workplace, focusing on Muslim women who wear the hijab. This research formed the basis of his book, Embracing Workplace Religious Diversity and Inclusion: Key Challenges and Solutions. He holds an M BA from the University of Scranton and a BS in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University. He is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He also holds the SHRM Inclusive Workplace Specialty Credential and the SHRM California Law HR Specialty Credential.
