I'm currently a second-year PhD student in Georgetown's Department of History. My dissertation will consider the complexities of local truth and reconciliation efforts in the department of Ayacucho, Peru following the decades-long conflict between the state and the Maoist insurgency group, Sendero Luminoso. Though my research lies in Peru, I have extensive experience traveling and working for a small organization called Adopta Una Familia in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and am passionate about researching and developing transitional justice across Latin America. I reside in Washington, DC with my two cats.
