Griffin John
I study political inequality as it manifests in American Democracy.
I have co-authored two books with the University of Chicago Press and more than 30 peer-reviewed articles appearing in the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the British Journal of Political Science, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and other outlets. I am the Editor-in-Chief of Political Science Research and Methods, the journal of the European Political Science Association.
Before coming to Georgetown in 2023 I taught at the University of Colorado Boulder (2012-2023) and the University of Notre Dame (2002-2012). I hold a B.A. from Boston College, a J.D. from the University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
