Anna Muckenfuss

In 2017, Anna Muckenfuss earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public History and German from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with the intent to pursue a career in Museum Education.

While an undergraduate, Muckenfuss spent a summer as an intern at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC where she fell in love with the city and its rich landscape of museums. Upon graduation from Ball State, Muckenfuss pursued her Master of Arts Degree in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University and graduated in May 2020. Since October 2018, Anna has worked at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC – first in Visitor Services and then in Museum Education. Muckenfuss currently serves as the Museum’s Director of Programs, creating and facilitating public programming for the organization’s diverse audience. Muckenfuss’s programming with the museum greatly focuses on the American judicial system, the history of American law enforcement, and advances in forensic science. This is Muckenfuss’s second year as Capstone Director for the Forensic Science Academy.
