“Technology brings us all together, we use it every day, and it’s making the world a better place,” says Maura Imparato, a graduate of Georgetown’s master’s program in Technology Management. And the downside? Well, she added, it can be a little “clunky” when you’re trying to combine multiple systems that don’t want to work together. But mundane hassles aside, both Imparato and Elaine Ward, a faculty member for the University’s Systems Engineering Management program, say their work in technology is fascinating and rewarding. Here, they talk with Maria Trujillo, Faculty Director of the Technology Management program, about why more women should pursue technology careers.
