Andersen is a trusted adviser to senior leadership, internal and external clients alike with strategic skills matched by impeccable on-the-ground savvy and tactical abilities.
Currently, she is executive director of LightCounting Market Research, a market analysis firm focused on the telecommunications industry. Prior to LightCounting, Andersen was the director of public relations for The Optical Society, the world’s leading professional association for optics and photonics professionals. During this time, Andersen achieved the member designation of senior membership.
Andersen is a graduate of West Virginia University’s IMC master’s program. In addition to her master’s degree, she studied at the graduate level at the University of North Florida and earned a BSBA in marketing from American University, Washington D.C. As an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, she served as the 2014 President for the National Capital Chapter, the largest PRSA chapter in the United States.
