Mary McCarty Earley has extensive experience in the field of media analysis and business intelligence research.
Prior to founding MME Research in 2004, Earley was senior vice president and group head with Edelman PR's research subsidiary, StrategyOne where she worked with clients such as Pfizer, Microsoft, Progress Energy and the American Plastics Council. In this role, Earley advised executive leadership of Fortune 500 clients and major trade associations on research strategies.
In addition to her corporate clients, Earley’s clients include news outlets, nonprofits, and academic organizations.
Earley is a contributor to professional journals such as Online, Database (now EContent) and Business Information Alert. She was recipient of the Gale Group award for her article, "Internet in the Workplace: Managing the Unmanageable," which was published in Online magazine.
Earley has appeared several times on C-SPAN as a participant on panel events on research and the Internet. She has also presented at Online World and Information Today's international conference.
Earley received her bachelor's degree in Italian from the University of Virginia and a master's in information science from the Catholic University of America.
