Laura Wilson is a Senior Vice President, Platform Strategy at Weber Shandwick. Laura is a leader on the firm’s digital team where she is focused on planning, designing and implementing integrated communications strategies and campaigns on social and digital platforms across industry verticals. Laura is also a member of the firm’s Platform Fluency Initiative building deep subject matter expertise of digital platforms including best practices, product roadmaps, and opportunities. With fifteen years of experience in the digital communications space she has a track record for creating or improving successful social media programs for major brands such as U.S. Army, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Georgetown University, TIAA, Siemens, USPS, and Corning.
A frequent public speaker, Laura has presented keynotes and workshops at marketing and communications conferences, corporate retreats and in university settings including currently serving as an adjunct instructor at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies. Laura holds a B.A. from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Public Relations & Corporate Communications, an Executive Master’s in Global Strategic Communications from Georgetown University, and an MBA with a concentration in data analytics from Longwood University.
