Suha F. Daou, Ph.D. is highly skilled in helping individuals, teams, and organizations recognize and actualize their full potential.
Suha is a multilingual expert with more than 25 years of professional management, academic, facilitation, consulting, and coaching experience at the individual, team, group, and organization levels across a wide array of global industries and multinational organizations. Dr. Daou was a top ranked professor at both the graduate and undergraduate levels teaching
leadership, negotiation, ethics, and all facets of human resource management and development.
As a consultant, Suha has designed and delivered a variety of performance improvement interventions including executive coaching; group and team coaching; comprehensive needs assessment; the design and development of training programs and materials; selection and performance appraisal guidelines; and human resource interventions and associated evaluation programs for a variety of organizations spanning several industries.
In the area of leadership development, Dr. Daou designed and conducted numerous leadership competency assessments and leadership development interventions. As a result of her experience in managing people and guiding organizations to improve performance, Suha brings a deep understanding and multicultural perspective what individual, team and organization leadership requires to be effective.
While at the UN, Suha led the Management, Leadership, Communication, and Innovation (MLCI) Unit at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at the Global Learning Center (GLC) based in Budapest, Hungary where she was actively involved in the assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of all core management and leadership development programs for national and professional staff at all levels. Suha was the
primary representative for GLC/UNHCR in agency-wide leadership development initiatives such as the UN Leadership 2030 Agenda, Women in Humanitarian Leadership, and the various Inclusion, Diversity and Gender Equity efforts.
As a coach and coach supervisor, Dr. Daou has earned certification by Georgetown University in Executive Leadership Coaching; by Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Paris in Global Organization Executive Coaching; by Oxford Brookes University in the UK in Coaching Supervision program; and as a PCC and PCC Marker Assessor by ICF. Suha is
currently a member of the Georgetown Executive Coaching program faculty.
Dr. Daou is a certified practitioner in a variety of psychometric assessments. Suha has co-authored and published scholarly articles, the best-selling book in the field of expert witnessing, and is currently co-authoring chapters in a book on Succession Planning (by invitation). Currently, Suha serves as co-chair of the GSAEC standards committee for graduate education in
coaching.
