Jill Chimka, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is an adjunct lecturer for the Georgetown University School for Continuing Studies Certificate in Early Intervention program, teaching the course Serving Children with High-Intensity Disabilities in the Natural Environment. Jill is the director of early intervention for Easterseals DC MD VA and a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. In addition to a Master of Education in communication disorders from the University of Virginia, she also has a certificate of early intervention from the Georgetown University School for Continuing Studies. Her early intervention work includes serving as a speech-language pathologist and service coordinator. She is the early intervention program manager and clinical supervisor for Easterseals’ contract with the Strong Start/DC Early Intervention Program. Jill is also a member of the DC Interagency Coordinating Council and the Easterseals DC MD VA Head Start Policy Council. In her free time, Jill enjoys playing pickleball and trivia.
