Brandon Daniels is currently the Performance Management Officer, in the Department of General Services, with the Government of the District of Columbia.
Dr. Daniels currently serves as the Performance Management Officer, in the Department of General Services, for the Government of the District of Columbia. Most recently he served in the Office of Performance Management, in the Executive Office of the Mayor, in Washington, D.C. He advised the Chief Performance Officer on the effectiveness of existing District government performance management initiatives, infrastructure, programs and policy; recommended improvement based on research of best practices and national standards and advises on cost effectiveness and risks. He served as Associate Director for Policy Research and Strategy, at the American Council on Education, and Director of Special Programs at the Association of Governing Board for Universities and Colleges. Dr. Daniels also served as an education research analyst in the Strategic Planning Group of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE).
Dr. Daniels earned his BA in English from the University of North Texas; his MS in educational leadership and policy studies from Florida State University; and his PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
