Rich Toohey is an accomplished marketing consultant and adjunct instructor with extensive experience in Loyalty, CRM, Customer Engagement, and Market Research.
Rich Toohey is President of Resolvere Insights LLC, a marketing consultancy helping clients across industries with projects related to Loyalty, Customer Experience, and Customer Engagement. In addition to consulting, Rich is an adjunct marketing instructor for Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies, Virginia Tech’s Executive MBA program, and The University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business. The courses he has taught include Customer Relationship and Database Marketing Management, Loyalty and Loyalty Program Management, Proactive Marketing in a Dynamic Environment, and Marketing Research Methods.
Rich brings a deep understanding of how to create and strengthen customer relationships based on recent client consulting engagements coupled with over 20 years of marketing experience at Marriott International including leadership roles with Marriott Rewards where he led efforts that successfully improved member experience and loyalty through program innovation, CRM activation, new communications strategies, and benefit enhancements. Prior to Marriott, Rich was with RJR-Nabisco in marketing and manufacturing engineering.
Rich has shared his marketing practitioner expertise in corporate meetings, panels, guest lectures and industry conferences including CRM Evolution, Constellation Research’s Connected Enterprise, and DC Marketing Tech Talks. Now residing in Maryland, he has an MBA with a marketing concentration from Wake Forest University and a BS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Virginia Tech.
