Michael Piccorossi is a digital strategist with more than 15 years experience with all phases of digital publishing, audience development and measurement.
He is currently Director of Digital Strategy at the Pew Research Center where he leads the digital team that includes web development, design, product, user experience, analytics, social media and video. At Pew Research, he established the use of digital analytics to inform editorial and audience strategy and led the development of a unified publishing and brand strategy for multiple digital properties, products and social media.
Prior to Pew Research, he was Director of Online Operations at U.S. News & World Report where he established the use of digital analytics, oversaw the redesign of usnews.com and managed teams that built a custom CMS and E-commerce system.
He holds an Ed.M. from Rutgers University, and a B.A. from Rowan University.
